Get Up & Do Your Bed

Happy Monday Everyone! 

Woke up to some heavy rain and wind. The kind of weather that makes you want to crawl back into bed. Waking up and finding motivation can be hard but if you take the start of your morning with this one goal you will find it easier to have that momentum.

What is the first thing you do when you get out of bed? Do you jump in the shower and get ready? Are you the kind of person that goes straight to the kitchen for coffee? Or are you the kind of person who dreads getting up, has a million alarms set and finally gets out of bed and is out the door in five minutes? Well today I encourage you to get up and do your bed first. You might be saying, "But I don't have time to do my bed" or "Why should I do my bed if I'm just going to get back in at night." It's that kind of mindset that stops you from achieving the things you wish you could. A simple task like doing your bed is more powerful than what it seems. When you do your bed first thing in the morning you are creating a new positive habit. Once you make it into a habit after believing you did not have the time or energy to do so, you start to find the time and energy for other people, projects and even yourself.
